Timberlane Partners acquired 2828 Zuni, an apartment community in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood, through its closed-end multi-family fund, Timberlane Acquisition Fund. The property was acquired for $40.5 million, equating to $386,000 per unit. Canwest developed the project in 2013, and the Mulhern Group was the architect.
Built in 2014, 2828 Zuni features 105 upscale residential units, including large studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. Timberlane plans to enhance both the common areas and individual units significantly as part of its acquisition strategy.
Located at the intersection of I-25 and North Speer Blvd, the property offers immediate access to major employment centers and outdoor amenities, including the Cherry Creek Trail and Confluence Park.
Since 2011, Timberlane has acquired and built more than $1 billion worth of real estate throughout the West Coast and Mountain West regions of the U.S.
